This year I’m skipping handing out candy to the kids that come to my door on Halloween. There will be plenty of other houses giving out candy, so the kids won’t be missing out on anything, and I’ll feel better knowing that I’m not contributing to a bunch of kids hyped up on sugar for the next few months.
Another plus… I won’t be tempted to eat any of the leftover candy once Halloween is over. And let’s be truly honest, I usually end up snacking on the candy from the day I bring it home from the store all the way through Halloween night and up until the last piece is gone and has thickened my thighs by a good 2 inches!
