If you thought women were the only ones that have a heavy burden when it comes to living up to societal standards, you’ll be shocked to learn that men are under a great deal of pressure as well.
The Representation project, which brought us the film Miss Representation, will be releasing a new film in 2014. The film, titled The Mask You Live In, explores the emotional suppression that men undergo from a young age which shapes the person they become as adults, and how they interact with others.
